Creekside

Creekside, located in Knott County

Creekside is a men’s residential treatment facility. Nestled between the mountainous terrain of Knott County, the community is rich with Native American and coal mining history.

The residential facility sits down the road from Alice Lloyd College, a private work college – meaning students graduate with little to no debt. Alice Spencer Geddes Lloyd came to Eastern Kentucky at a time when educational opportunities lacked in Appalachia.

Services Offered:

One of her first endeavors was creating Ivis Community Center which provided health care, educational services, and agricultural improvements to the region.

Keeping with her vision of providing opportunities, ARC is leading the way when it comes to combining drug treatment and vocational training that results in second-chance employment. We believe the solution to the nation’s workforce issues is lying dormant in the lives of those struggling with a substance use disorder. ARC’s Crisis to Career approach allows those suffering from substance use disorders to reenter the workforce and live flourishing lives.

Crown has given me a purpose in life. A reason to get up and go to work and help someone else everyday. Crown has given me the confidence to take risks in my life and know that people have my back no matter what!

"This center changed my sons life! I cannot express enough gratitude. The staff here was so warm and welcoming. Every time I contacted the center, they responded with haste. My son was in a desolate place before coming to treatment, he was provided with all the resources he needed to learn how to live again. He cannot say enough good words for Crown Recovery Center and I am forever grateful!"

"Crown Recovery Center. The facility I attended in order to get sober. Not only did I learn the tools needed to get sober, and how to know when to use those tools to maintain sobriety; I also learned so much about who I am, what my passions are as well as what I wanted to do with my life. The brotherhood I found there was second to none. The fellowship was impeccable. While there I met some guys who I will forever be connected with. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who finds themselves struggling with addiction desperately searching for a way to change their lives. The tools needed in order to change your life are here at Crown Recovery Center."

Crown has helped me enroll in college and just gave me the strength and confidence that I needed, because of Crown I can be the brother, son, and father that I always wanted to be. For that I am truly grateful!"
