As part of their ongoing efforts to help Kentuckians impacted by substance use and mental health disease, Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) today announced that Lawrence Vinson – ARC Chief of Staff – will expand his role to serve as the Chief Quality Officer for ARC Healthcare. Vinson will focus on ensuring maximum quality of care, including clinical effectiveness, patient outcomes, and overall patient experience.
“I am excited and honored to serve our incredible staff, clients, patients, and communities in this new expanded capacity,” said Vinson. “Pursuing excellence while providing high-quality care is both a goal and a standard we relentlessly strive to uphold.”
Prior to joining ARC in 2019, Vinson served for four years as the Chief Quality Officer at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Kentucky, focusing on quality management and regulatory compliance. In addition, his tenure at TRMC included working as the Quality Coordinator/Data Abstractor and as a Registered Nurse.
“Lawrence has exemplified unwavering commitment and expertise to upholding the standards of quality care since joining ARC,” said Matt Brown, Chief Administration Officer of ARC and President of ARC Healthcare. “We understand more people than ever are struggling with serious mental illness and other behavioral health conditions in addition to substance use disorder (SUD), and we have made it our mission to expand access to care for all Kentuckians.”
As part of ARC’s focus on expanding behavioral/mental health supports, the organization opened its first inpatient psychiatric hospital in Greenup County late last year. With that expansion, ARC has evolved to provide community members with the comprehensive services they need to achieve and sustain improved physical and mental health. ARC will continue focusing on delivering comprehensive services in addition to substance use disorder treatment in Kentucky and beyond.
The organization is also expected to open its first out-of-state facilities – in Virginia and Ohio – within the next year.
